Bohemian Glam Styled Shoot

Reigning Color All Year Long

This ‘Bohemian Glam’ styled shoot at Boals Farm is the perfect example of why you shouldn’t be afraid of bold colors! Our inspiration came from the rustic feel of the venue and the floral napkin you will see incorporated into the tabletop, which helped bloom the rest of the design. We chose to work with vibrant hues of fuchsia, yellow, burgundy, and navy with the transition into the fall season in mind. When working with color, use it in places that will stand out and make an impact! We chose to use watercolors as an element to help soften the design, as you can see on the invitation, place cards, signage and cake. As for the dress, we wanted something that wasn’t your standard white or ivory, and this blush Lazaro gown was the perfect choice! Even drinks are a chance to add color. This “something blue” cocktail with local ingredients of High Wire Hat Trick Gin, Jack Rudy Tonic, blueberry juice, muddled mint, and club sod garnished with mint and lemon wheel. One of our favorite details are the gold brushed artichokes! Produce is a relatively inexpensive decor item that has so many options to add a pop of color to any tabletop! Add a brush of gold for a more elegant feel. Enjoy browsing through all the pin-worthy details below!
