Tayo and Doyeon's classic fall wedding was held in the Viceroy Hotel in Washington, D.C. They were very intentional from the start of their planning process that they wanted a small an intimate gathering. Tayo is of Japanese/American heritage and Doyeon is from Korea, and both had family traveling from their respective home countries to celebrate their wedding in D.C. Sugar Taylor & Co. created the wedding invitations and paid homage to both Tayo's love for cherry blossoms and the Nation's Capital into the beautiful stationery design. When planning their wedding, Kristin of Elle Nicole Events loved Tayo and Doyeon's sense of style and tradition. With Doyeon's family flying in from Korea and not speaking much English, the menus and escort cards were written in both English and Korean—a gesture to make them feel included in their special day. From ceremony to reception, the elegant décor was wrapped in dark rich colors and lots of greenery to bring their fall wedding vision to life!
