For entrepreneurs Maria and Flavio it was truly fate. After raising their baby boy together they decided to be the best team for the rest of their lives by getting married. Flavio comes from a very well-known Swiss family and the location of their Switzerland wedding holds a very special meaning. They joined together in matrimony in Verwaltung St. Charles Hall. Flavio’s great-grandfather was the architect of this breathtaking villa at the Lake of Lucerne, adding such a beautiful familial connection. For Maria, the owner of Tuata-Home, Colombian inspired home decor, it was important to portray her Colombian roots and express her passion for tropical decoration. With the guidance of Nicole Please Weddings, they were able to bring Maria’s vision to life by creating the perfect mix and match between traditional Swiss and vibrant Colombian colors. The wedding theme and dress code was Flora & Fauna. Maria’s wedding gowns by Johanna Ortiz and Ezgi Cinar had traditional Latin lace and ruffles. Her bridesmaids had bold, long, and flowy skirts, with different tropical prints and colors. Inspired by ethnic chic and wild animals, every detail incorporates parrots and greenery, complemented by pinks, yellows, oranges, and blues. Colombian folklore singers, performers, and dancers brought life and energy to the ceremony and carried on the party on the boat. The Swiss setting and the Colombian theme make this wedding one of the most unique and personal celebrations of culture and love. We wish this warm-hearted family a lovely journey together.
