French Inspired Mansion Wedding

Historic Romance, Fall Leaves, & Grand Trees

Berry Hill Mansion in Frankfort, Kentucky overlooks the capital and its grounds are covered in spectacular red cedar trees. Rachel and Elliott knew they wanted their special day to stand out. They chose the historic Berry Hill as their perfect backdrop as an ode to Elliott’s love for Kentucky Bourbon. Wedding planner, Rachel, had her personal and professional worlds collide when she became a blushing bride herself. She dreamed of beautiful flowers everywhere so she took it upon herself to make her dreams come true. With florals provided by Flower Moxie, Rachel made her own bouquet, along with other floral elements. Together they concocted the perfect floral recipe of extravagant fall bouquets. Life blooms from the bride’s and bridesmaids’ hands with the pink and orange roses, lush greens, and touches of white and blue, all tied together with pink chiffon. The color palette is soft—light pinks and blues give the wedding a French je ne sais quoi that's unique to a fall wedding. From the bridesmaid's dresses to the table linens and design, there's a renaissance aura that permeates the day. Elly Cakes created a blue and white cake and added seasonal berries around the rim that subtly say fall is here. The mansion’s elegance tells the story of a time before, while the trees are at their colorful prime transition from fall to winter. Rachel and Elliot’s love radiates as bright as the twinkling lights and celebratory sparklers.
