While Megan was born and raised in Hawaii and Matt was born and raised in Wisconsin, it was Vail that brought them together where they met as snowboard instructors. Such was the inspiration for their oceanfront Hawaiian wedding, a Hawaii meets Vail themed fete that included elements of what ultimately brought them together.

The Location

Megan and Matt could not imagine a more perfect place to tie the knot then the island of Oahu, and the decision to hold the wedding at the bride's family oceanfront home, with the ceremony nearby at a nearby church, was an easy one to make.
