Inspired by the sustainability of reusing a ferry for a home or event space, Nicole Please Weddings created an intimate and luxurious styled shoot on a Hong Kong Star Ferry turned yacht. This venue is one of the most intriguing yacht conversions in Asia—sold for HK$21 million in Hong Kong. Onboard, there’s 6,000 square feet of living space, plus another 4,000 square feet for storage and utilities. With a roof water collection system and solar panels providing energy needs, this yacht provides the perfect combination of luxury and sustainability.
When the sun reflects off the shimmering sea, it resembles crystals and their imperfect waves and ridges. To bring that connection to life, healing crystals were placed strategically around the custom picnic reception and cake display. The cake’s smooth blue design brought subtle waves onboard while enhancing the colors of the ocean and the ferry's natural materials. To perfectly tie together the coastal theme, the stationery suite included ferry tickets to The Wan, inviting guests to embark on an unforgettable experience across the Victoria Harbour.
