Rhiannon and Matt were married at the historical Queen Emma's Summer Palace. The location, known as a summer retreat for Hawaiian royalty in Nu’uanu Valley on Oahu, was perfect for their contemporary, slightly woodsy yet tropical wedding. The couple worked with Nichole Weddings & Events to execute their vision of a local, organic and green-focused Big Day. They used peacock blue, citron green and bursts of rust to create a chic and festive palette. Paper lanterns lined the ceremony aisle, which led to the bamboo chuppah in the lush gardens of the palace grounds. Vibrant linens and floral arrangements in matching vases topped fun reception tables, while modern cakes were set upon wooden platforms.
