Kim and John’s extravagant NYE wedding was planned by Aisle Planner pro, Veronica from Type A Soirée. The event consisted of a welcome party, a rehearsal dinner, and of course the magical wedding day! The couple got married in their estate, Casa De Suenos, located in Escondido, California. The color palette and decor were inspired by the estate’s Spanish-style architecture!

On the night of NYE, lace parasols and glimmering lights hung above, velvet couches and rich jewel tones illuminated by antique gas lamps, the smell of jambalaya was in the air, and jazz notes filled every corner—Kim and John’s estate was transformed into New Orleans! The couple rang in the new year in style with a night in “The Big Easy” rehearsal dinner. From the glamorous details, and lavish florals, to the anticipation for the wedding day and the new year, everything about this night was electric.

Kim and John said “I do” on New Year’s Day in an ethereal wonderland. Hanging blooms, fine Spanish details, and the secret garden dessert bar are just some of the many elements that made the wedding day so special. The focal point of the ceremony was the fountain altar, blooming with the colors of the sunset—white, orange, and blue. Gaslamp Floral created pieces of art with all of their floral work and ensured every single space in the venue had gorgeous flowers and lush greenery. Playing off of the enchanted garden theme, Sunkissed Native beautifully encased potted flowers to show guests to their table. 24 Carrots Catering & Events impressed guests with delicious bites all throughout the night. Starting with small bites, the prettiest charcuterie spread, moving into the main event—steak, mashed potatoes, and veggies. While This Girl Walks Into a Bar served delicious bevs to keep the party going and the spirits high. Republic of Music entertained guests as they sipped and chatted during cocktail hour and played their hearts out as everyone danced the night away.
