Designing a palette of colors and props that works in the majestic Redwoods in Santa Cruz was a challenge but Amy West Floral took center stage in this romantic shoot. From the antique rug runner to the romantic lace gown, every scene drips romance. Using existing redwood stumps as floral props blended the backdrop with the décor perfectly. The bold colors popped against the dark forestry. The sweetheart table and cake shots were staged inside The Barn at River House, a cedar sanctuary that sits adjacent to the old stand of Redwoods. The cake itself drew inspiration from the ferns and redwoods outside and the lush table setting felt very natural using the greens and agate stone seating assignments. So many amazing elements contributed to the total look of this boho shoot!
