Rustic Ranch Wedding in Santa Margarita
Hannah and Wyatt were fortunate enough to get married just prior to the COVID shutdown (Phew!). With a light rain forecasted for the day of their wedding, some adjustments were made and the entire wedding was held inside the historic barn at Santa Margarita Ranch. The rustic wood of the barn made for the perfect backdrop for their ceremony, which was centered around a beautiful nine-foot wooden cross that was custom-built for them by family members. The light shined through the little cracks and crevices of the barn and created a soft, intimate ambiance for their sweet vows, communion, and first kiss as a married couple.
The couple described their ideal wedding as laid back, down to earth, and nothing too fancy. They decided on earth tones for their color palette: dusty blue, heather gray, and evergreen—all complemented with gold accents. The reception was just one huge dance party that had every single person out of their seats! When it was all over, the newlyweds got into their getaway car decorated with a “Just Married” sign, and everyone cheered as they drove away. “It was truly a surreal, unforgettable moment. When the wedding was over and the decorations came down, we were so grateful we were able to be part of Hannah and Wyatt’s big day,” says Amanda of Amanda Holder Events.
