Jessie and Sam live in Encinitas, California, but always envisioned a real winter wedding. As Jessie's dad is the manager of the Colorado Rockies, her family spends as much or more time in Colorado than they do in San Diego County, considering Steamboat Springs a second home. Being very traditional, Jessie and Sam chose to get married in the Catholic church downtown and then host their festivities at La Joya Dulce Ranch.
The newlyweds opted to do a very grand entrance in a horse-drawn sleigh, featuring a rescued American Saddlebred, Elvis. The groom had never driven a horse before (other than in practice the day before), and as you can see from the smiles in the photos, he pulled it off flawlessly! The 13,000-square-foot pavilion was transformed into an elegant winter wonderland with incredible florals and rustic chic details. The evening was capped off with a custom s'mores cart and dreamy dancing in front of the giant marquee “Love” sign!
