Mahesh and Barathi met when they were 15 years old while speaking the language of love—French. They sat next to each other in French class and became fast friends, shared sweet locker notes, and kept in touch when they went to college in separate states. Fate brought them back together, right to the Fort McHenry National Monument where the big proposal happened. They said “I do” at the Hilton Hotel in Baltimore Maryland. The couple loved the venue’s floor-to-ceiling windows that overlooked the iconic Baltimore Camden Yards baseball stadium. Mahesh and Barathi were both born in the United States and their parents are from India so they wanted to truly fuse their Indian heritage while also adding Western touches.
