A Whimsical Wedding at Castle Farms

Rustic, Fun, & Feminine

A perfect blend of Christie's femininity and Carter's favorite hobbies, this couple was wed in a courtyard on the grounds of Castle Farms in Charlevoix, Michigan. The location, built in 1918 by Albert Loeb, was modeled after French stone barns and castles. The couple sealed the deal among the grounds featuring acres of gardens, dragon sculptures, and the largest model railroad in the state of Michigan, infusing fun and fairytale-like whimsy into every moment. The nuptials were photographed by Staci of Dear Olive Photography and planned by the love story customizing experts at FALL In Love Events. Catered by Grey Gables, the couple treated guests to a wealth of indulgent amenities. Soft pink tablecloths with crystal clear glasses and candle votives lined the reception hall. A sprinkle of gold gleamed from table numbers couched among green leaves as life-giving and simply natural centerpieces. With a cookie-filled cake table, to a cigar table with a sign reading "A Love That Burns Like Ours," this fairytale and booze-infused wedding was anything but conventional. The reception was complete with a photo booth from MIFunBooth and was entertained by tunes from DJ Mikey.
