Wintery Emerald Wedding Inspiration
This editorial showcases the complexities of winter: the expectant waiting of the winter, a juxtaposition of raw yet sumptuous textures, and a soft sense of movement and of veiled sensuality. The gentle whisper of wind softly rustling the layers of tulle worn by the bride and the flicker of candlelight. The Manor at Airmont is a gem set among the rolling hills of Virginia’s wine country. It’s glistening chandeliers and wrought iron banisters flanked by rich beams and the many windows filled the space with gorgeous natural light. The tablescape softly draped with creamy-textured linen and gorgeously modern place settings. Our favorite detail though is the black tapers, which framed the table and added a note of edgy sophistication. Oh Eleven Studio’s designed the invitation suite and paper details complete with hand-torn edges and seeded paper. Modern Trousseau of Washington DC’s Raphael gown is from their Fall 2020 Collection and has never been photographed. This sumptuous gown with its dramatic silhouette adds subtle notes of softness and drama and plays oh so beautifully with the emerald velvet worn by the maids.
