You want to do the wedding planning, but need a little guidance. We will discuss what you envision for your wedding celebrations. After careful consideration, we will recommend the vendors who fit your needs, from site locations for your ceremony and reception to favor suppliers. We are happy to review your wedding budget and plans (or help you get started) to make sure you have thought of everything and addressed all the details. We will make suggestions on timelines, theme, vendors, and etiquette. This package is perfect for the person that wants the guidance of a wedding planner to "look over your shoulder." We will meet with and go over any questions you may have. Rustic Chic Wedding In Hillsborough, NC

The couple planned to get married in an outdoor ceremony, but rain sidetracked their plans. Fortunately, Chauna said that their wedding planner had the foresight to track the weather and create a Plan B for the ceremony. In fact, Chauna said, the planner knew that it was going to rain at the exact time Chauna was expected to walk down the aisle. But the transition to holding the ceremony inside was so seamless that Chauna said no one could tell the original plan was not to have the ceremony exactly where it was.
The beautiful, rustic ceremony and reception were decorated with beautiful floral displays from Blossom Floral Artistry with plenty of lush greenery interspersed with cream, pink, and purple blooms. Different shades of pinks and purples were combined together for a timeless look. The wooden reception tables were set with purple plates and were decorated with long swags of greenery and white candles in clear pillars. Greenery hung from the wooden ceilings, and twinkle lights hung over all the tables. Some round tables were covered in deep purple linens, and covered with elegant floral centerpieces with blooms in shades of pink and purple. One wooden wall was entirely
covered in twinkle lights. The head table was decorated with an elaborate floral runner with brightly colored blooms in purples and pinks. The couple sat at a loveseat with pillows that said “Mr. Right” and “Mrs. Always Right.”

The world watches in fascination whenever there’s a royal wedding, and women everywhere think about their own fairy tale nuptials in a castle. At this real wedding at the Garden on Millbrook, there may not have been a castle, but the rest of the details were fit for a princess.
As Erin and Torrian said their vows, classical music from Blue Sands Music complimented the ceremony, which was decorated in blooms of cream and blush from Fresh Affairs. The bride wore a gorgeous, strapless gown with a long train and veil, and she carried a classic bouquet with cream and blush blooms, flanked by sprays of greenery.
A Paradigm Shift Event, designed the reception to include tall centerpieces with the same mix of gorgeous florals, and swaths of soft chiffon created a romantic and opulent atmosphere. The bride and groom sat at a sweetheart table that featured cream king and queen chairs embellished with gold edging. They had their first dance on a “cloud”, creating a dreamy, romantic atmosphere. A crystal chandelier hung over their heads, contributing to the royal tone.
The tables were set with luxurious linens in shades of rose and wine, and the décor featured accents in gold and cream. Vases of lush blooms, and small votives adorned clear vases of varying sizes. The tables seemed to be set for royalty. The crown jewel of the evening was the five-tier wedding cake from Cake Couture Boutique, set atop a rose gold base. The tiers were frosted in gold, cream, and blush, and geometric, rose gold accents were featured on different tiers.
Every detail in this wedding culminated to create a romantic yet luxurious night for this beautiful couple and was captured by Cara Powell of F8 Photo Studios . The opulent setting exuded sophistication, grandeur, and romance, transporting the guests into Erin and Torrian’s fairy tale. This wedding was indeed the beginning of their happily ever after.
An AKA Bridal Shower in Pink & Green
Some sorority bonds go far beyond the college years – they last for life. Those sisters continue to celebrate one another as they get married, have children, and progress in their careers. Those bonds and a recent bride who was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc were the inspiration for this feminine and romantic bridal shower theme at Traine in Raleigh.
The sorority’s colors are green and pink, and you can see them in everything from the soup and drinks served at this gourmet luncheon to the flowers and linens that adorned the tables.
The tables were dressed by CE Rentals with lace overlays, and each place setting had a pink, satin napkin and dinnerware with pink, floral prints. Gold flatware, candleholders, and gold-rimmed glassware provided the perfect accents. The chairs were wrapped in pink satin ribbon tied in a bow at the back. A cascade of darker pink satin ribbon flowed down the back of each chair in large ruffles.
Centerpieces from Flowers by Gary were kept simple and on theme: Pink roses nestled amid a bed of greenery inside a green planter. The cake featured a watercolor design that matched the watercolor on the invitations by Amber Share Designs. The Watercolor design blended seamlessly with the feminine, floral motif for the shower.
Personalized touches were used throughout the luncheon. A vintage style golden-framed mirror welcomed everyone to the shower with a hand-drawn message in a lovely script. The champagne flutes painted in gold with the names of the guest served as favors. (The champagne was pink, of course!) Each place setting featured a name card in pink script.
The style shoot, captured by Rebecca Faulk of Red Bridge Photo was held at Traine showed that a theme doesn’t have to be complex to make a statement. Choosing two colors and a general tone for the event is enough to give you plenty of options for décor and food, creating a beautiful event that will be sure to make an impression. Be sure to keep the venue in mind when planning so that you can capitalize on the elements that are already there, either to incorporate into the décor or to create a nice contrast.
