Jackie and Cookie from About Joy Events (Formerly - Milk and Honey Special Events) help create amazing, memorable, fun and most importantly joyful celebrations.

With a background in hospitality and wine, helping make a vision come to life and amaze guests is what we live for. It's not a job but a passion. Without fail, tears always appear when the bride is about to walk down the aisle as joy transcends, which makes everything leading up to the moment worth it.

Hiring Milk and Honey Special Events was the best decision that I made for my wedding. Jackie was beyond fantastic to work with. Completely professional, intensely creative, and always supportive, Jackie was an incredible resource in both the practical and the emotional aspects of putting together the wedding. When complications or problems appeared, Jackie was there with great ideas and suggestions. More than that, Jackie helped to turn potential stress into joy and excitement. Joy is really at the core of what Jackie does and her passion and love for her work came through at every phase of the planning process. She went above and beyond, not only helping with ideas, but also in the actual execution of working with the vendors. On the day of the wedding, Jackie and her team were wonderful. I am so incredibly grateful for everything that they did for me.
I was completely overwhelmed and admittedly in over my head in trying to tackle the planning of my wedding. Hiring Jackie and her team completely changed the game. From the moment that Jackie came into the picture, anxiety transformed into excitement. She not only helped make the event happen, she made the entire process about joy and the celebration of love.
