ABOUT Serendipity Flower & Wedding

Hi there, thanks for checking out our listing.

Our names are Ross and Ayako Harrison, an international couple living in, and loving, Japan. We believe that a wedding here is about more than just the wedding: it's about experiencing what this country, the people and the culture have to offer.

We love it that you are thinking about having your special day here in Japan, and would love to help you make this a reality!

Whether you are looking to have a traditional shrine elopement or a more modern affair, we’ve got you covered. Choose from one of our stunning, shrine ceremonies or intimate, personalized, romantic settings, be it in Tokyo, Kyoto or even the Japanese alps! Our team handles the flowers, officiation and photography, so you don’t have to worry about a thing!

Tell us your vision, budget and specific ideas for your special day. Work with us in realtime, or virtually, through Aisle Planner to coordinate ideas, progress and bookings in the run-up to your big day. With multiple video calls in the planning process, distance need not be an issue. It’ll be stress-free, and enjoyable; as it should be!

Celebrate a special matrimonial milestone with a romantic vow renewal in a gorgeous Japanese garden, completed with kimonos (optional) and a photo-shoot. The ceremony is in English with a distinct Japanese flavor.

With one foot in tourism (certified travel consultant) and the other firmly rooted in wedding and elopement planning as certified wedding planners, we are here to help you from your arrival in Japan through to your final departure.

We can help you put together your itineraries for your experiences before and after your big day, enabling you to get the most of your time here, in Japan.

Allow us to find places off the beaten tourist path, that will offer you a unique, intimate experience; one that will stay with you for the rest of your lives.

#1 It’s Cost effective!
Dollars spent on a holiday and elopement in Japan will go further than dollars spent on a big wedding at home. Really, it’s a no-brainer!

#2 It’s an adventure!
Eloping in Japan is all about creating unique experiences, and few places are more unique!

#3 Less is more
With fewer things to worry about (because we take care of everything!) you can just enjoy the day, take your time and live in the moment. Where better to be mindful than in Japan?!

#4 Japanese culture
It is exotic, mystical, beautiful, unique and has great locations for photo-ops! Need we say more?!

#5 Shrine Wedding
Where else can you get married in a beautiful Shinto Shrine? Beautiful, exotic rituals and stunning silk kimonos will make this a wedding like no other - and they are so easy to set up!

#6 Open all year round
With very distinct seasonal changes, there is something for everyone, be it in the snow of winter; cherry blossom of spring; lush greenery of summer or the beautiful orange and reds of autumn.

#7 Great locations
From stunning Japanese gardens to beautiful temples; amazing city views to quaint countryside settings, and even the famous conical Mount Fuji, Japan has no shortage of locations from which to choose. Your pictures are going to be simply amazing!

Hosting your special event in Japan will give you a lifelong connection to this beautiful country, people and culture. You will forever identify with the country, because it will always be a part of you: You may leave Japan at the end of your trip, but Japan will never leave you!

Feel free to contact us at any time, and let's start talking about your special day!
