We are based in Toronto with experience and willingness to realize your dreams wherever they may take you. Our vastly experienced team of professionals have been transcending visions into artistry steeped in elegance and style since 2006. Simply, we love what we do and are proud of the fact that we have enhanced and brought happiness and pleasure to our clients from our inception. Simple El’egance is here for you from the moment you answer that special question “will you marry me?!” Why get stressed over the details of planning your wedding? With Simple El’egance Events we are here to assist you in all aspects of planning for your big day. We provide twelve one-hour consultation meetings in this package to discuss your wedding day throughout the planning process. We are here to arrange and attend vendor meetings and most importantly we are here for you on the wedding day. It can be an overwhelming experience and we’re here to make it enjoyable for you and yours. Give yourselves the opportunity to really take it all in and select the Platinum Wedding Package and leave the stress and worry to us!

Looking to get away for your wedding? We offer assistance with destination weddings as well! The Destination Wedding Package was created for couples that want to take their wedding abroad and it includes the services of the Platinum Wedding Package and more. Let Simple El'egance Events take care of all of the wedding and travel arrangements for you and your guests. We have extensive knowledge in destination weddings and work closely with the resorts to offer superb rates. We also work closely with the resort/venue and various local vendors. Twelve month booking is preferred for the Destination Wedding Package. We are here to provide a stress free experience and we will be there on the big day to provide a worry free experience like no other! We will begin working with you approximately 8 weeks prior to your big day to ensure that you and yours can enjoy a stress free experience. We take care of all the details so you don’t have to. This package was created for couples that have planned many of the details on their own, but still want a wedding coordinator to tie up all of the loose ends and be present on their big day. We are here to resolve any issues, concerns or problems and help with last minute details.

We want to take this opportunity to thank Nicole Mercury & Raquel John Matuzewiski from Simple E’legance Events with planning our wedding. My bride to be and I did not know where to begin. We had the basic idea as to what was involved by going to the wedding shows but the more we got into the details we found the experience to be overwhelming. Andrea decided that we needed help; she posted an ad and received many responses. As we researched we found one wedding planner that stood out from the rest. With our initial meeting, Nicole and Raquel were very professional and worked with us to see our vision of what we wanted for our big day. From the guest lists, invitations through the late night conversations to the wedding decor, and the day of the wedding they were there every step of the way. Nicole and Raquel worked tirelessly with the vendors to ensure our day was one we would never forget. Words are not enough to express how grateful we are as without them; we do not believe we could have made it through our wedding day. Thank you both for what you have done for us.

I have known Raquel for the past 15 years. She has always had the knack for planning, so when she got into the business (Simple El'egance ) it was no surprise to me. I know that this was just up ‘her alley’, and that she was destined to be successfully at the task.

Our Journey begins”

Jim and I had a destination wedding in Barbados, July 2017. Our reception was scheduled a year later, July 2018. Hiring Simple El'egance was absolutely one of the best decisions we made to coordinate our reception.

Raquel and her partner Nicole, were diligent in coordination of reception from start to finish. They took meticulous care of each and every details. From selection of venue to decision on vendors that supported our budget.

We did not have to spend time worrying about details on the day of. We were so glad to have both Raquel and Nicole present, to discreetly guide us through this momentous day. As a result, we were able to spend valuable time with our guests. Indeed, time well spent!

The entire evening flowed smoothly. Several week following the occasion, we received countless positive comments on the execution of the event. Some said, and I quote ‘ this was the first time that I attended a wedding reception without ‘the drama’.

Raquel and Nicole’s passion for event planning, combined with their organization and attention to details, make their worth far more than the cost for their services.

We would highly recommend Simple El'egance to any couple planning their wedding and reception. They specialize in both local and destination events.

My fiance and I knew we needed a wedding planner due to our hectic schedules and concern that we wouldn't have the time to piece everything together ourselves. We were referred to three different wedding planners. We met each of them and Nicole was the last to be interviewed. There was something was different about Nicole that just stood out.

Her enthusiasm, excitement, creativity and confidence radiated through and in the first five minutes, we knew she was the 'one'. Immediately in the meeting, she began throwing out ideas, learning about our story and brainstormed on the spot how we could tell it on our wedding day.

Nicole, sourced many different big items for our wedding, including the artiste who would be creating my dress. She corresponded with her on my behalf making sure she was going to deliver on time and have me blown away, and blown away I was.

Nicole came with me to important meetings for decor, to determine many fine details that I didn't think of! She worked tirelessly on the stationaries, invites, the thank you gifts to guests, itineraries - EVERYTHING!

Nicole was the sole contact person with our resort in Jamaica where we would be having our destination wedding for 125 people! I didn't have to worry about one thing. She single-handedly, coordinated the entire day, ensuring we met timelines, that guests were happy and most importantly, that my husband and I were happy.

We also had an all-white party days following the wedding at the resort for all of our guests. Nicole creatively incorporated our wedding reception decor for the white party and it looked absolutely stunning! Not only that, I planned a bridesmaid photo-shoot and she directed it too, along with my photographer and the photos came out remarkable!

Her amazing service went beyond the wedding day and we were astounded by it all. Through her passion, amazing and authentic personality, I have bonded with her and now call her friend. She will be a part of our lives for years to come and will hopefully be open to plan our vow renewal in five years! By then, we can easily see that she'll be wedding planning for A-List celebs, but we will cross our fingers till then.

As soon as we met you, both Mark and I knew that we were making the right decision with working with Raquel and Nicole coordinating our wedding day. We knew that no matter what happened you both would make sure that the wedding would go smoothly. And it did. There was absolutely nothing left for us to worry about. Both Raquel and Nicole were overly organized and diligent and quick when responding to any questions or concerns that we had.

All of your recommended vendors were truly a pleasure to work with. From the the Dress designer, florists and wedding invitations we were truly amazed.

We had such a wonderful time, we wish we could do it all over again! One of the greatest pleasures was getting to know you. You were not just our wedding planners, but an ally, confident and friend. Thank you Raquel and Nicole , we couldn't have done it without you – you really did make our wedding dreams come true!

To say we were Satisfied with Simple Elegance, is an understatement. They are very thorough from start to finish. Not even once did we feel like they did not have our best interest at heart. I can truly go on and on about their Amazing work. But it's better you just get engaged and higher Simple Elegance to plan your wedding for the vision you want. My husband and I really wanted to plan our wedding, but with only 6 months lead time we knew we would need help. Simple El'egance Events came highly recommended from a friend and from our initial phone conversation and subsequent face-to-face meeting we could tell that both Nicole and Raquel were experienced, organized and passionate. They helped us connect to reputable vendors for our cake, decor, printing and transportation. Nicole and Raquel got up to speed very quickly, helped us to develop a program for the day and did a final onsite rehearsal with our bridal party and DJ. On the day of, Nicole and Raquel were at the venue ensuring all details were executed to our vision and that everything was running on time. It's so important to have people that you can trust and help you achieve your dream. We had an amazing time at our wedding and we didn't have to worry about anything!
Our wedding was nothing short of tropical simple elegance.

We could have not asked for a better duo to make our special day come true. Nicole and Raquel from Simple El'egance Events Toronto were there every step of the way from start to finish. They handled all communication with vendors, which lifted the stress from our busy schedules.

When trying to get married in a pandemic during the unforeseen turn of events that happen daily due to the nature of our current circumstance, these women were our saving grace!! To think that we had to change our venue three times because of the new bylaws put in place!!! There is no way we would have been able to navigate such tumultuous times without their ability to pivot and change directions so quickly.

They're patient, loving, enthusiastic, creative, organized, detailed and ensured that everything was set to perfection. Their attention to detail, passion and professionalism sets these two apart.

Our wedding was indeed a dream come true, from the décor to the layout. I had family and friends come up to me after the wedding praising the work of art that Nicole and Raquel had done.

There is something so magical about Simple El'egance Events Toronto, and they sprinkle that magic into your life like two wedding fairy godmothers! These two were more than just our wedding planners; they became our friends. A relationship that we will forever cherish.

Nicole & Raquel are two amazing people!!!

We had to plan our wedding in only 7 months!!!! Nicole and Raquel at Simple El'egance Events did not miss a beat or a step from start to finish! What I like most about their service is that they help you develop your vision, they make executing your plan easy by the quality vendors they suggest and work with and then their direction from the first day we met them to the end of our wedding was amazing!

So many people were commenting on the fact that I wasn't a "bridezilla" but honestly I didn't have to be because of these two very professional ladies. Both of them pay very close attention to detail, they have an eye for what is stylish and simply beatiful, they keep you on budget (which is sooooo important), they are fun and energetic, they help you to stay on schedule, they listen to you and most importantly you know and feel that they actually care about you and making your day beautiful.

It's funny, after the wedding I said to my husband I miss talking with Nicole and Raquel because they really become part of your friendship circle after being a part of our wedding journey. I've had the pleasure of calling Nicole Brewster a friend for well over a decade. She's such a dear friend, I asked her to stand in my wedding as a bridesmaid. After years of watching Nicole work with brides to pull off their dream weddings, there was no question that when my wedding day came, I wanted to work with Simple El'egance.

With two weddings to plan, we met with Nicole and her business partner Raquel to bring our vision to life. From the moment we met them, the stress of planning not one, but TWO weddings lifted from our shoulders. Nicole and Raquel helped us plan the biggest moment in our lives and we couldn't have imagined doing it all without them. What makes them very special is that they care immensely about their clients and go to great lengths to ensure that their needs are met. Not only did Nicole and Raquel help with the finer details, they made sure we were enjoying the process, that we weren't feeling stressed and communicated with us regularly. We could call on them at any time and they were quick to find solutions to the problems we encountered. Their experience and professionalism made everything run smoothly. From venue visits, floral and decor appointments, they were there for it all, continually advising and pointing us in the right direction. Our first wedding, a cultural ceremony, was everything we had hoped for. Both Nicole and Raquel ensured that all of the important components and details of the day came together.

When it came down to the second wedding day, Raquel took the lead as Nicole stood by my side as a bridesmaid. Raquel was absolutely amazing. Not only did she ensure everything flowed on time, but she does everything with the upmost grace. That's just her nature, beautiful on the inside and out. She managed, all of our vendors from decor, florals, to musicians and ensured that our guests were taken care of. She worked with our venue staff and made sure everything ran smoothly. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Simple Elegance on our wedding day(s), and we enjoyed every minute! I can't thank both Nicole and Raquel enough for making our dreams come true.
