When planning for their Steamboat Springs wedding, Alison and Trevor were hoping to tie the knot in front of the changing leaves of the aspen trees surrounding Fish Creek Falls...but mother nature had a different plan! On the morning of their wedding, the bride and groom woke up to the first Colorado snowfall of winter, but they weren't going to let that change their plans. After getting ready in the incredible See Me Lodge, the couple drove to the top of the mountains to capture stunning portraits in the shimmering snowfall. Alison was more than prepared for the weather with an elegant long sleeve gown from BHLDN, her hiking boots with wool socks, and a cozy fur coat. Following the moving ceremony led by local Steamboat officiant Marlene Fisher, guests made their way back to the lodge for a fresh meal prepared by private chefs on site. After raising a glass to the happy couple, the newlyweds shared their first dance in the large living room, before family and friends joined in to celebrate the rest of the enchanted evening!
