As Diana of Lucia Events said about working with Stephanie and Kelsey, "What’s better than planning with a bride? Planning with TWO brides!" With their style, class and exact vision, they created an incredibly romantic wedding day, held at the Kualoa Ranch in Kaneohe, Hawaii. Since they each had recently graduated with doctoral degrees, as did a lot of their guests, their Big Day was really a huge party with lots to celebrate. Personalized details included great song selection (including "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and "I Kissed A Girl"), custom gowns with complementing bouquets by Green Honolulu reflecting each bride's personal style, and custom designed stationery from Bradley and Lily featuring the majestic mountain range backdrop of the venue. They tied the knot on the mound under a tree, with guest benches facing the mountains, while the wedding party stood on the stairs behind the ceremony. The brides decided on the tabletop decorations, which featured beautiful pink blooms and square dishes for fine dining under the trees and cafe lights. A tasteful menu of sushi, whole pig and pasta and salad was served station style. The venue's pavilion was transformed into a dance space and lounge, with draping, lanterns and great lighting, and Shawn Starr captured it all.
