Modern Mid-Century Wedding Inspiration with Bohemian Touches
Santa Barbara County has a new eclectic wedding venue, Foxen Canyon Ranch, surrounded by popular wineries, rolling hills, and native animals. Ann Johnson Events and Heirlume Photography teamed up to showcase the ranch in a mid-century modern and bohemian styled shoot. The best part—the models were a real couple that didn’t get the chance to have their dream wedding in 2020 and eloped, but now have the best wedding photos to share with their family and friends! The outdoor ceremony featured pampas grass and dried floral arrangements, raw wood benches and chairs, and cowhide accents as an ode to the cows that can be seen in the distance. The terracotta details flowed effortlessly from the cocktail hour, reception, and even to the cake! The nonconventional seating chart was made to be interactive offering guests charcuterie plates as they approached and found their table number. With the myriad of nooks and spaces Foxen Canyon offers, the team utilized all these rooms with rentals varying in height, texture, and materials to showcase the endless options for events. To end the night, the newlyweds were whisked away in a vintage car for a staycation at Solvang’s Epic Hotel Winston nestled downtown!
