Melissa Terry Events designed this romantic styled shoot created around the mix of cool and warm colors—sage and yellow. Every detail was carefully planned to incorporate those colors in elegant and subtle ways. The shoot was captured at The Nest at Ruth Farms in Ponder, TX—a beautiful barn with intimate settings and scenic vistas. The rustic white walls made for an ideal backdrop for the pops of florals, greenery, and gold décor accents. From Ruscus to Eucalyptus, the various shades of green played off the Polo, Tibet, and Creme de la Creme Roses to bring the color palette together flawlessly. The vintage dishes and custom printed menus were the perfect addition to each place setting, creating a soft, refined tablescape. For dessert, Ruthi Cakes created a gorgeous three-tiered wedding cake topped with gold flakes and modern, geometric accents.
