ABOUT Pleasant Union Farm

We are a family owned and operated farm and we love what that means. We spend time together as we are working, relaxing and playing. Both my parents and Cale's parents are a huge part of the farm also. You will find all of us working on the farm at different times of the day and year. Cale is the day to day caretaker for the hens and goats. I tend to be the main goat milker and even though it's one of the last tasks of the day, it is something I enjoy.

At Pleasant Union Farm, we are ready to provide the amount of help in the planning process that’s just what you need. We provide a Venue Only rental option for the bride who knows exactly what she wants – bring your own vendors, decorations and let us take care of the basic table and chair set up and breakdown. We can also provide the full wedding planning for the bride who wants to just sit back and enjoy the day. We offer a variety of catering menus to meet your taste and budget preference. The floral package includes bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and center pieces created just for you. All of our packages include a wedding coordinator to take care of all the details for you. Your wedding day is the beginning of your marriage and life together with the one you have chosen. Our goal at Pleasant Union Farm is to ensure that beginning is the wedding day you have dreamed of.

What drew you to a farm wedding to begin? Why does our farm stand out from other venues? We believe if you are choosing to celebrate your wedding at a farm venue, it should stand out for the reasons that truly make it unique. Our Farm to Table Wedding package truly highlights what makes a farm wedding special. We work with local chefs and farmers to create a menu featuring locally provided, in season menus and florists and flower farmers to highlight locally grown flowers. This creates an aesthetic only available for your wedding week and your local setting - making it truly unique.

Buffet Menu
You will work with our preferred caterer to craft a menu that reflects your personal taste with local, in season produce. Produce offerings will vary throughout the season. Early June may feature strawberries, radishes, fresh greens, peas and other early season produce. Peak summer months will feature tomatoes, greenbeans, blueberries, peaches, corn and more. Fall season will finish up with harvests of apples, butternut squash, red cabbage, sweet potatoes, etc.
The main dishes will be served buffet style, but each table will receive salad and bread options to be passed family style. This builds community among your guest and highlights the relationships that drive Farm to Table.

Floral Package
Our florist will work with you to create a garden style floral package featuring fresh flowers from our farm and their garden. We will work with wholesale flowers to fill in or create the bulk of the bouquets to meet your desired aesthetic. Guest tables will be decorated with various bud vases filled with farm flowers such as yarrow, zinnias, cosmos, black eyed susan, butterfly bush, dahlias - depending on seasonal availability.
